Smut Slam DC: Queer Pride

***PLEASE NOTE*** the date change! We had to shift things around a bit this month but we’re still Slamming!

DC is queer as fuck—we’ve even been rated the #1 most LGBTQ-friendly city in the country at times! And every June we break out a month of amazing parties alongside Capital Pride, so Smut Slam DC is stepping out in our rainbow best to elevate and celebrate the stories of our queer community.

Doors at 7:30
Show at 8:30

(Not familiar with Smut Slam? It’s a storytelling open mic where audience members sign up for 5-minute slots to tell their best real-life, first-person, consensual sex stories. It’s queer-friendly, kink-friendly, lifestyle-friendly, body-positive, sex-positive, and wildly fun. No costumes, no notes, no gimmicks, just straight-up raw truth! See the full rules and how it works on our Rules of the Road page at http://dc.smutslam.com/rules.)

This month, our theme is “Queer Pride”. We want to extend a special invitation to our LGBTQ Smutsters to join us and let your voices be centered. All our smart-assedness aside, this is (as always) a safe space to tell your stories in all their glory. Funny or serious, political or romantic, we’re going to raise a glass to the beauty and diversity of your sex life and to sexual freedom in general.

Your (fellow queer) femme-cees will be Smut Slam DC co-producers Mindi Mimosa and Diva Darling, joined by a panel of local celebrity judges (TBA) who are also out and proud.

As always, the Fuckbucket (where audience members can throw in anonymous confessions or questions) is generously sponsored by nJoy sex toys (http://www.njoytoys.com). Prizes for exceptional storytelling may include event tickets, sex toys, gift cards, or other swag donated by fabulous local sponsors.
