The Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) is excited to host Performance with Purpose, our first annual showcase of the inspiring veterans, service members, military families, and caregivers who drive our community. This special evening will feature USMC Veteran and National Book Award finalist, Elliot Ackerman, as well as the military-affiliated alumni of our comedy, storytelling, and creative writing programs.
Our veteran artists have curated Performance with Purpose to spotlight the top performances that have emerged from our community in 2018. The event is designed to provide our veteran- and military-affiliated artists with a meaningful platform to share their creative work, generate awareness of the arts’ positive impact on veterans’ well-being, and raise significant funds to support ASAP’s future programs.
