People ask us, who is General Shaw and why his chicken? Well for starters, he saved Crispy-mas. During the Great Chicken Uprising of 1549, he fried more than 3,000 chickens as they swarmed and nearly pecked him to death. Not only did he help quash the insureggtion, he also provided months of delicious fried sandwiches for the troops. And each month we scramble to celebrate his bravery with yolks that will egg-cite and some free chicken!
We’ve got a flock of great local comics like Ryan Neser, Bridget Geiran, Martin Phillips and the hilarious headliner Haywood Turnipseed, Jr. (PBS, Sirius/XM, AOTC) that you can see for only 10 clucking dollars (in advance).
Get there early (one of the first 5) and say the magic word at the door (hint: it’s “Chicken”) to get a free sandwich. Don’t mislay your plans!
