Attention DC Metro Area! If you thought you’d seen the last of Facedancer when The Bayou closed, you were wrong!
In January 2017, Face Dancer proudly returns to the DC metro area where they got their start a “few” years back. Thanks to packed venues in both the DC and Baltimore music scenes in the 80s, Face Dancer became a Capitol/EMI recording artist, and their tunes can still be heard on mainstream traditional and internet radio. There is nothing old about this band, only NEW – new album entitled “Brave New Faces,” new album t-shirts, new and 1st ever music video, and a couple of new faces to keep the Face Dancer tradition alive with their classic hits: “Red Shoes,” “Time Bomb,” “Cry Baby”… and more!
Jeff Adams (from Wheaton), Billy Trainor (from Olney), and David Utter (from NoVA) have been performing and collaborating all year long in 2016 with their new band brothers and sister: JOHN WEST on lead vocals (from Philly/North Baltimore, of Vanessa, Vision, The View, etc.), CHARLIE THOMAS on guitar and vocals (from Wheaton/Silver Spring; of Street Life, Chuggalug, and ‘Us!’ bands), and PJ LEE on bass, keys and vocals (from Silver Spring, of Chuggalug and ‘Us!’ bands). The kind of chemistry, cammaraderie, and musical fellowship these 6 bandmates have together is rare and undeniable.
Helping Face Dacer celebrate their long-awaited return to the DC Metro Area are the classic and harder rock band “Soul Kitty 6” from NoVA.
