Busta Rhymes w/ Rah Digga

Feed The Scene Presents:

Busta Rhymes
Busta Rhymes was an original member of Leaders of the New School. He later went on and founded the record label Conglomerate (initially Flipmode Entertainment) and production crew The Conglomerate (formerly Flipmode Squad). In November 2011, Busta Rhymes signed a deal with Cash Money Records. On July 23, 2014, Busta Rhymes announced that he left Cash Money Records due to creative differences and was no longer on Republic. In 2016 Rhymes signed with Epic for his upcoming album due to be released in early 2017.

Rah Digga
She was spotted by Q-Tip at the Lyricist Lounge which led to her meeting Busta Rhymes and joining his Flipmode Squad and has appeared on several Busta Rhymes albums. Her debut solo, Dirty Harriet, was released in 2000 and featured Busta Rhymes and Eve. Many songs from her second album had leaked to the internet in an unofficial 23-track album of unreleased material, and in 2010 Rah Digga released a new version of the album featuring additional tracks. Rah Digga released a new album, Classic, in 2010. Production was handled by Nottz, and a promo single was released entitled “This Ain’t No Lil Kid Rap”. Since then she has been releasing music independently through her Soundcloud, Bandcamp and iTunes accounts.

ICON THA GOD
A Baltimore artist raised in the inner city looks to escape his rough upbringings. While using catchy wordplay and describes the “hood” in a way that is almost poetic, he also tells tales of the nightlife, success stories, love, and lust. Definitely not trying to be put in the box with other artist, his flow and ability to attack any style certainly gives him the upper hand. IconThaGod is a artist you should keep your eye on, judging by his recent release “UndeRated2” he doesn’t plan on going anywhere.

Synse
Inspired by everything around him, Synse believed “life has a rhythm to it” and the emcee set out to prove that using everyday situations. Formerly in the group Contamination (From 2005-2011), the duo released the mixtapes, Source of Sickess, C.O.D. (Cause of Death), Source of Sickness 2, and Bizzness Az Uzual. Since Synse signed with G-Man Entertainment in 2005, he has shared the stage with Bone Thugs N Harmony, Redman, Method Man, Wu-Tang Clan, The Lox, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, and most recently Krs One. He also made an appearance on the BET Music Matters Tour in 2011. His latest project showcases more storytelling and personal experiences. The “Synse” album is available where ever music is streamed and sold. If you’re drawn to storytelling and gymnast-like lyricism, then Synse is not someone you want to miss!

ALLTHEWAYG
Though it seems as if anyone can pick up a mic and become an MC these days, very few have the ability to make actual music. This Baltimore, Md native has had no issue in that area. AllthewayG or “Mr. Martian” is a breath of fresh air to hip hop. From the release of his first project Spaceships & Hip Hop Vol. 1 in 2012 until recent singles “Deer in Headlights”, “Fuckless” and “Wholetime” AllthewayG has embraced his inner Martian and promotes individuality and acceptance for who you really are regardless of what’s expected. “This type of Martian is reserved for the bosses” a statement made throughout AllthewayG’s latest project “Take Me To Your Leader” which is scheduled to release in the spring of 2017, stamps the artist as confident enough to compete on the top level of hip hop superstars.
