1ST FLOOR
Names Music (9PM)
When the dust settles after the highly visual and cinematic live performance, the beat driven, feedback infused rock music lives on. With NAMES at the helm, the massive guitar solos, harmonized vocal arrangements, and tribal instrumentation takes lines that are often blurred but seldom crossed, and twists them into an electronic and mind altering frenzy.
Mike of Doom (8pm)
“There’s an honesty to the decision to make overtly self-centered music. Modern lyrics, be they cased in pop, rock, or hip-hop, are largely personal and confessional, but the subject of the creator’s self is often shrouded by generalities and modesty.” – Washington City Paper
HIGH WAISTED (7pm)
Quirky 60’s garage rock is re-imagined from the nose of a surfboard, making High Waisted feel like a psychedelic lullaby. NYC surf rockers with pop sensibilities and an affliction for rock and roll. They’ve been called NME Magazine’s “buzz band to watch,” declared “the ultimate party band” by GQ and have received praise from Consequence of Sound, Noisey, and Paste.
The Coax (6pm)
The Coax is a psych-rock outfit based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Heavily influenced by garage bands from the sixties and rock and roll bands from the seventies, their post-punk sound captured in studio is replicated live with a raw energy that is undeniable.
Raindeer (5pm)
“A psych-pop gem with an undeniable propensity for kaleidoscopic dance beats, Raindeer combine New Wave elements with the new Baltimore standard. Electronic drumbeats set the foundation for the expansive sounds set forth by this vivacious quartet. Raindeer command your attention with rhythms that are impossible to ignore; it’s hard not to tap a toe or nod your head along to these powerful pop anthems.” – PASTE
Copes (4pm)

In a live show equally blaring as it is fascinating, Venn performs with an undeniable energy. Fans of My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Joy Division are invited to witness D.C.’s loudest band.
