The Solar System contains many small, unexplored worlds in a vast region of space beyond Neptune and Pluto. Recent discoveries include dwarf planets and smaller Kuiper Belt objects, and astronomers are searching for a new large planet that may orbit 700 times farther from the Sun than the Earth.
