The first-ever Love Beer Festival, which takes place in Washington, D.C. near Yards Park on Oct.6-7, is a celebration of great beer and the passionate people who brew it. The festival is a family-friendly event open to all beer lovers at no cost, giving D.C.-area residents a chance to explore their craft beer curiosities and enjoy classic lagers.
Love Beer Festival will kick-off on Oct. 6 with a Budweiser Clydesdales appearance at 11 a.m., followed by various interactive experiences, yard games, face painting and more.Also on Oct. 6, as a nod to military families in the area, Anheuser-Busch will host a ceremony as part of the company’s partnership with Folds of Honor.As part of Anheuser-Busch’s Better World initiative, Keep America Beautiful, Keep Washington D.C. Beautiful and the Anacostia Watershed Society will co-host a booth at Love Beer Fest to educate festival-goers on the ongoing efforts to restore the Anacostia Watershed.
